From the island of Montserrat in the late 1970s to the parishes of New Jersey today, The Venerable Dr. Alson B. H. Percival has given his life in service to God and neighbor. Ordained into Anglican ministry in 1978, he has spent over four decades as a parish priest, archdeacon, canon, theological educator, and author — building not only churches but the people within them.

His ministry has spanned dioceses in the Caribbean, the Windward Islands, North Eastern Caribbean and Aruba, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Long Island, and New Jersey. Wherever he has served, he has left behind transformed communities — renovated sanctuaries, empowered youth, growing congregations, and residents cared for through senior citizens' homes, homework programs, and social outreach.

Though now retired in title, Dr. Percival remains one of the most active ministers in his community — leading morning devotions five days a week, conducting Bible studies, serving as supply priest, and offering his decades of knowledge as a mentor to ministers and theology students beginning their journey.
